tekranowfindr is committed to protecting the personal data of everyone who uses this website or contacts us in connection with our services. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, the legal basis for processing it, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as applied in Ireland through the Data Protection Acts 1988–2018.
1. Who we are
The data controller is tekranowfindr, Unit 14, Kylemore Park North, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10, D10 W7C4, Ireland. If you have any questions about this policy or about how your data is handled, contact us using the details on our contact page.
2. What data we collect
2.1 Contact form enquiries
When you submit an enquiry through the contact form on this site, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), organisation name (if provided), premises type, building location, and the content of your message. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and, if you proceed to a contract, to inform the specification process.
2.2 Website usage data
If you consent to analytics cookies, we may collect anonymised data about how pages on this site are used — which pages are visited, how long visitors spend on them, and which links are clicked. This data does not identify you personally and is used only to improve the site. No analytics are active unless you have consented. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
2.3 Cookie consent records
When you make a cookie consent choice on this site, a record of that choice is stored in your browser's local storage. This is a strictly necessary function of the site and does not require your consent. The record contains your consent choices and a timestamp. It is not transmitted to our servers.
3. How we use your data
We use the data you provide through the contact form to:
- Respond to your enquiry;
- Arrange a walk-through of your building;
- Draft and agree a cleaning specification;
- Manage our contractual relationship with you if a contract is agreed.
We do not use your data for marketing purposes, and we do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for their own commercial purposes.
4. Legal basis for processing
The legal basis for processing data submitted through the contact form is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — specifically, our legitimate interest in responding to genuine business enquiries. Where a contract is agreed, the legal basis shifts to performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Where you have consented to analytics cookies, the legal basis for that processing is consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
5. How long we keep your data
Enquiry data that does not result in a contract is retained for twelve months and then deleted. Data relating to an active or recently concluded contract is retained for seven years from the end of the contract period, in compliance with Irish Revenue requirements for business records. Analytics data, if collected, is retained for no longer than twenty-six months.
6. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. This website is served over HTTPS. Contact form submissions are transmitted securely. We do not store payment card data.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Right of access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — you may ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure — you may ask us to delete your data, subject to any legal retention obligations.
- Right to restriction of processing — you may ask us to restrict how we use your data in certain circumstances.
- Right to object — you may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- Right to lodge a complaint — you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (DPC), the supervisory authority for data protection in Ireland, at dataprotection.ie.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details on our contact page. We will respond within one month.
8. Third-party services
This site does not currently integrate any third-party services that receive personal data (such as advertising networks, social media platforms, or analytics providers requiring data transfer). If this changes, this policy will be updated before any such integration is activated.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
